The Hosts

Old Televisions and Radios

Stacy and Pete are a married couple who recently discovered that they were clinging to media from their childhood and teen years as a coping mechanism for all that 2020 has brought. Born in the late '70s, they both have so many emotions connected to the nostalgia of growing up through the '80s and '90s, as we all do of our youth, and thought it might help spread a little light by talking about it.

Stacy grew up just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee, while Pete grew up near Rochester, New York. They met in college, but the timing wasn't right. Twenty years after they first met, they finally made it official and married in 2018. They currently reside in TN, social distancing with their three kitties.

Stacy's favorites from the '80s are Jem and the Holograms, Rainbow Brite, She-ra, The Muppets, Teen Witch, Tiffany, New Kids on the Block, Whitney Houston and all things John Hughes. From the '90s, she loved 90210, My So-Called Life, Boys II Men, Alanis Morrisette, Romeo & Juliet (Hello, Leo!), Empire Records, Dave Matthews Band, Dawson's Creek & Felicity.

Pete's favorites from the '80s are Star Wars, Transformers, He-man, G.I. Joe, Indiana Jones, Madonna, Top Gun, Def Leopard, The Beastie Boys, The Neverending Story and The Goonies. From the '90s, he loved Nirvana,  Dazed and Confused, Tupac, Pulp Fiction, Alice in Chains, Tombstone, Pearl Jam and Fight Club.
